Perranporth Surf School are surfing specialists and also provide multi-adventure activities with kite surfing, coasteering and powerkiting in Cornwall.

Perranporth is arguably the best place to learn to surf in Cornwall. We are located just 10 miles south of Newquay, away from the more over crowded beaches. This gives surfers both a safer and more enjoyable place to learn to surf.

This 3 mile stretch of beach offers a variety of wave size and quality to suit the beginners, progressive surfers and the advanced.

Surfing in Cornwall

Surfing is an exhilarating and fun sport for all ages and abilities. For beginner surfers it is important to get good quality tuition, use the right equipment, and learn in a safe environment. Perranporth Surf School's enthusiastic, professional and qualified instructors will ensure an incredibly enjoyable and safe surfing experience. We teach the complete beginner and those looking to improve their skills. Come as a group, join like minded people in a group lesson or request a private one to one session.

Coasteering in Cornwall

Coasteering is becoming hugely popular in the UK. Swim the coast, scramble and climb a cliff face, traverse to a platform from where you leap back into the sea. The adrenaline from every aspect is exhilarating and the experience is great fun. Our quality local guides will take you to the best spots suitable for the experience of your group, and for your safety. Bring a group or come by yourself and join others, you are guaranteed a great time.

Power Kiting and Kite Surfing in Cornwall

Kite Surfing combines wakeboarding, windsurfing, surfing and gymnastics into one extreme sport. Here at Perranporth our experienced instructors will teach you how to fly a power kite, harness up and learn how to ride the water safely and quickly. Enjoy the thrill of powerkiting with smaller foil kites, sliding along the beach on your feet and trying some jumps.
