Glaramara Outdoor Centre is ideally located to offer a wide variety of outdoor adventures, giving you fantastic opportunities to discover and explore the real English Lake District. Activities are designed for all age ranges and abilities: for individuals, groups or families.

School Groups/Colleges
'The Glaramara Centre Experience' offers ideal opportunities for young people and students to come into close contact with the great outdoors, participate in adventurous and exciting activities, gain an appreciation for the environment, develop socially, intellectually and physically and make new friends.

Our team of highly qualified and experienced instructors are trained to encourage teamwork and communication, help to overcome any problems and build upon on young people's strengths and interests.

Group Accommodation
The Glaramara Centre offers lodge style accommodation with a friendly atmosphere in the heart of the English Lake District. Ideally suited for all size of groups and individuals, comfortable accommodation is provided in twin and single rooms which can accommodate up to 60 people.

The Centre has a recently refurbished comfortable lounge with natural log fires adding warmth and atmosphere in the autumn and winter months, a spacious dining room, a newly refurbished licensed residents’ bar and a small conference room.

The centre can be offered on an exclusive basis for conferences, workshops and field studies.
