The setting of Fern Howe is spectacular with views of Skiddaw. The workshops give you the opportunity to discover the wild beauty of the Lake District.

Photography Holidays in the Lake District

Lakeland Photographic Holidays provide courses that last either 4 nights or 6 nights. Accommodation in the guest house is an exceptionally high standard and you are provided with hearty breakfasts, packed lunches and a four course dinner each day.

LPH welcome all ages and abilities, from the complete beginners to the accomplished photographers looking to get more from their camera. They have a number of themed workshops that are run throughout the year:

Landscape Photography Workshops – this is the most popular course, teaching you how to capture the stunning landscape and bringing your photographs to life

Limited or Active Walking Workshops – limited walking is aimed at the less fit and focuses more on the photography or are keen to go higher and longer up and down steep fells to capture some truly stunning images

Nature and Wildlife Photography Workshops – In spring we focus on new life with subjects such as birds and blue bells, in autumn we focus on rich autumnal hues and coloured fungi

Young Peoples Photography Workshop - Duke of Edinburgh Award

These workshops are aimed at 16-24 year olds and are perfect for beginners. We aim to inspire and encourage young people and their interest in landscape and wildlife photography. Join us to achieve your Gold DofE 4 day residential.
