Painting Weekends in Cumbria

Are you looking for an ideal location to learn to paint or develop your techniques and confidence in various skills? Then this sketching and watercolour weekend course will be perfect. Choose and compose a picture using the outstanding landscapes, plants and architecture surrounding Temple Sowerby House, practicing new skills and techniques while completing your piece of art. The weekend includes full tuition, breakfast, lunch and dinner during your stay. Non painting partners and friends are welcome.

Wine Tasting Weekends in Cumbria

Indulge in this weekend of fine food, wonderfully matched wines, great company and education on wines also. This 2 night stay includes breakfast and 3 or 4 course dinner, a selection of wines and an afternoon of tutored wine tasting.

Outdoor Activity Weekends and Breaks in Cumbria

Temple Sowerby House organise all types of activities for individuals, couples, families and groups. Customise the activities you do to suit your break choosing from a wide selection. A few example options:
Multi-Activity Day – combine Quad Bike Trek, Archery, Horse Riding, Argo-Cat Off-Road Experience, Go-Kart Rally Cross
Multi-Activity Day - Choose 3 or 4 activities from: abseiling, assault course, canoeing, climbing, orienteering, ghyll scrambling, mountain biking, raft building
One Activity – Choose one activity for 1 hour up to a full day, such as Climbing, Horse Riding or off road driving.
