Description

Peaks and Paddles provide adventure days and holidays to suit the whole family and adults alike. Friendly, experienced and qualified activity instruction based in the Peak District, our activities include canoeing, climbing, abseiling, caving and family rock scrambling.

Canoeing in Derbyshire

Full Day Canoeing – combine flat water canoeing with a river journey, giving you the opportunity to get to grips with the basic skills before taking on the challenge of moving water and rapids. Great for complete begginers aged 13+.

Half Day Canoeing River Trip – descend the river while practicing new skills and negotiating with the moving water, rapids, bridges and rocks. Suitable for those with prior experienced 13+.

Caving in Derbyshire – Our adventurous caving experiences are great trips for friends and families, and can be as strenuous and demanding as the group would like. Trips underground last up to 2 hours.

Family Rock Scrambling – half day rock scrambling is an awesome adventure involving climbing boulders, sqeezing through gaps in the rock, using ropes for a harder climb and we can do an abseil off the rocks as well.

Rock Climbing – half day climbing useing ropes, we teach you how to belay (hold ropes)each other, Tie knots, and basic climbing technique, on one of the many crags in the Peak District

Abseiling – A popular activity is the thrill of abseiling off an 80ft bridge in the heart of the Peak District.

Adventure Family Days out and Holidays

Peaks and Paddles will design a ½ or full day of activities to suit your family, with activities the whole family can enjoy together.

Friends, couples, groups

Get together with others and enjoy an exciting adventure day tailored for you. Great for stag and hen groups.

Taster Sessions
