Coastal Survival run Bushcraft Survival courses to help you experience, practise and understand Bushcraft Survival skills and resources. Courses are run in many different and diverse Coastal location. We are based near the Devon/Dorset boarders and run courses along the Jurassic Coast, and the Llyn peninsula in North West Wales. Coastal survival courses are suitable for all skill levels. Individuals and Groups of up to 12, can enjoy and have fun learning valuable skills.

Coastal Survival and Bushcraft and Skills
Survival Fishing and Trapping - Fire building and lighting - Wild food forage and cooking - Water collect and clean - Shelter build and location - Navigation skills - Tidal and weather conditions.
These essential Bushcraft and Survival Skills are tried and tested methods, that can be used with confidence in a Wilderness, Bushcraft, or Emergency Survival situation.

All our courses cover the essential elements of survival skills and cover the Basics of Shelter, Fire, Water, and Food. You will Experience them first handand take away with you skill that will open up a hole new spectrum of Understanding and Enjoying Nature with your Bushcraft skills.

Pathfinder 2 Day Course
The Path Finder is an Introduction to coastal Survival and Bushcraft Skills, and is a Perfect Bushcraft and survival skills course suitable for both young and old of Ages 8 and upwards(GTC Apply)

It is designed to provide First hand practical experience of the rich and diverse world of Bushcraft and Survival Skills.

The day with be run on both the beach and back at the camp site, where full facilities and equipment will be provided.

The courses will be split over two days and will start at 11.30 am and end on the first day just before dusk, allowing for a well earned rest. The next morning will start at dawn and run through until 1.30 pm. Food will be provided in addition to the wild foods you find and cook!

The subjects covered will include an insight into the essential Survival and Bushcraft elements, Shelter-Fire-Water-Food.

1 Day Shore Survival
This is good course as a refresher or for the experienced outdoor person but suitable for all. Includes:
- set up a shelter and camp
- preparation of the wild foods foraged
- build and light a small cooking fire with flint and steel
- use and construction of a fishing kit
- preparing a hot drink from the wild plants and flowers
- techniques in signalling for help and rescue

1 Day Survival Fishing
This course takes you through the Survival Fishing Kit explaining and demonstrating the best way to make use of it, in an Emergency situation. All other Basic Elements of Survival will be covered as a matter of course. Shelter - Fire -Water - Food.

1 Day Survival Chef
This is a great day for all who enjoy food, cooking and the wild. Become an over night Ration pack "master chef" and learn how to take advantage of the fresh wild foods.

2 Day Survival Course - Sleep under the stars!
This 2 day course takes in aspects of all the above.
A Coastal Survival School certificate will be presented to you for a record of your achievements.
