The FJB Watersports Academy is Sandbanks premier watersports training facility, providing first-class tuition for people of all ages, novices to experts alike.

Fully qualified instructors provide training in windsurfing, kitesurfing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, sailing and powerboat training, corporate days and group packages, boat and yacht charters and kids' club - plus much more!

The Watersports Academy is located in one of the most picturesque locations in the country, based on the water's edge on Sandbanks Peninsula with views over the harbour to Brownsea Island and the Purbecks.

Our unique setting gives direct access to Poole Harbour, widely acknowledged as the perfect learning location due to its combination of shallow waters and relative shelter.

The Watersports Academy offers something for everyone and guarantees to ensure that you get the most from this stunning and unique waterside environment - from a single afternoon of fun on or in the water to tailor-made packages to suit your particular interests, ability, or personal requirements.

RYA Windsurfing Courses

On offer is a wide range of windsurfing courses along with high end equipment hire.

BKSA Kitesurfing Courses

This is one of the best locations in the country to try this new and exciting sport, we offer a wide range of kitesurfing courses.

Wakeboarding & Waterskiing Courses

Wakeboarding and waterskiing lessons for all abilities.

Yachting in the Catamaran

Our luxury 44ft catamaran will sail you sail you along the beautiful Jurassic coastline with its many hidden coves and beaches, or easterly to the Isle of Wight's towering and breathtaking Needles.

Powerboating

We offer the RYA level 2 powerboat course, which will probide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a competant powerboat driver.
Also skippered powerboat charters are available for up to 8 people for you to enjoy magnificent tours of Poole Harbour, or high speed blasts along the breathtaking Jurasic Coast.

Kids Club & RYA Youth Courses

We offer many RYA Youth Courses and are continuing with our Summer Fun Camp you can choose from many different ways to spend those sunny summers days with us enjoying the water.

Kayak Hire & Paddle boarding

Hire our easy-to-use, sit-on kayaks, the shallow waters of the harbour just waist-deep ensuring your safety.
