Are you looking for a boating holiday? West Highland Sailing have yachts and cruisers to suit your boating and sailing holidays. Located on the Caledonian Canal, we have 32 boats for you to choose from. No experience is needed, you can just turn up and we'll show you the basics and then let you get on your way and enjoy your holiday on the water.

Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal is not just a spectacular and breath taking waterway that cuts right through the heart of Scotland, it is also an ideal location for hassle free and easy boating. Stretching 60 miles long, there is no tide or current to worry about and the water is deep everywhere, so you can moor up at any pontoon, stop for lunch or at a pub, or find a pontoon for the night and not have to worry about the implications. You are free to do and go where you please.

Our Fleet

We have a range of sailing yachts and cruisers for you to choose from. Whether you want to enjoy the luxury of being on a cruiser to explore the waterway and relax and unwind on deck, or fancy a yachting experience where you hoist the sails and put your skills of sailing to good use. Both options are available to all levels of abilities. For complete beginners we will spend a few hours running through the basics with you, explaining how the controls work and also giving tips on where you can explore.

Our sailing and cruiser holidays are ideal for a full range of groups. Why not get all your friends together, perhaps celebrating a birthday or stag or hen, and take 1 or several boats and yachts off for a weekend or a full week holiday? Superb for family holidays also, enjoying the adventure of being on the water and great family bonding. Our boating holidays are also very popular for corporate groups as a good way to entertain and work together as a team.
