Plas Menai National Watersports Centre is only a short drive from Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. Located on the bank of the delightful Menai strait. This sheltered spot is the perfect outdoor adventure playground for a wide range of water and land based activities. We have a wide range of water sports and courses available for all standards and ages. The tuition at Plas Menai is some of the best in the UK for water sports.

Activities and Courses

Plas Menai run weekend and week long adventure activities and RYA courses. Whether you are a complete novice or looking to improve or develop skills, our courses will provide you with a rewarding and fun experience.

Other activities include mountain biking, low ropes, kayaking, gorge walking and coasteering.

RYA Courses: Dinghy Sailing, Windsurfing, Powerboating and Shore based theory. These courses are run at 4 levels - Beginner, Improver, Advanced and Coaching Training.

Kids

- School Groups: With such a wide range of activities we can provide great school activity field trips.

- D of E: Our activities can be used for those looking to achieve their Duke of Edinburgh Award.

- Kids Summer Activity Holidays: During school holidays we run week long courses specifically for children to get active and learn water sports. An example is our 'Beach sea, sail and surf course'. See our website for a full list.

We can tailor a training programme specifically for your business, combining our adventure and fun activities with leadership and team skills and training.

Accommodation

Plas Menai National Watersports Centre is a purpose-built centre with twin-bedded ensuite accommodation. We also have an on-site house suitable for schools and groups.
