Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Activity Centre is part of the Charity UK Youth and set in 65 acres of the picturesque New Forest. We offer a wide range of outdoor activities and cater for everyone, all ages, all abilities and every group size. Whether you are looking for a day out or a week long stay and residential holiday, our activities and centre welcomes you.

Who We Cater For

We really do cater for everyone and are open all year round. Individuals are welcome to join our drop in activity sessions, families can enjoy an outdoor activity day out or a family adventure break. We are a great option for parties, Wedding receptions, small stag and hen groups, school and youth group residential stays and also for holding corporate development training days/weeks and events.

Activities

Activities can be designed for groups specifically or you can mix and match our 90 minute sessions. These sessions include the activities listed above and see our website for a full list of activities.

Learn A New Skill - It is never too late to try something new. If there is an activity you fancy giving a go then our 90 minute sessions are perfect. Our instructors will show you the skills and techniques from which you can develop a new hobby.

Schools

We are an official Learning Outside the Classroom centre (LOtC). We specialise in working with young people and all our adventure and environmental activities can be tailored to the curriculum and we have a number of topic days you can adapt for your group. Childrens Summer Activity Camp Fundays

Children between 8 - 12 can enjoy our Fundays during the school holidays as well as short courses for 10-15 year olds. Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Activity Centre offer a wide range of activities that will ensure kids have a great day aswell as learning new skills.

Corporate Events and Team Building

We use both indoor and outdoor challenges and tasks for corporate events, tailor making each course to your requirements. Whether you are looking for leadership training, team building or personal development, we can design the ideal event for your business. We also have seminar and meeting rooms for you to use if you need them.

Accommodation

We have accommodation available to suit all budgets, from full board stays in our Grade I listed House or self-catering cabins, to camping in one of our 7 camping areas or small tipi village.
