Adventure Northumberland have activities for everyone. Based on the coast in the heart of Northumberland we are the ideal outdoor company offering great water and land based activities. We cater for all ages, all abilities and all group sizes, from individuals to large parties and school groups.

Whether you are looking for an hour of fun, a full day out or a week long holiday we have a great range to offer you. We are very flexible and our team will put the perfect package together to suit you.

Below are just a few examples of what we offer

Rock Climbing in Northumberland

Northumberland have excellent crags providing exciting and challenging climbs for the beginner and the expert climber. We run a taster session where you can learn about knots and experience climbing pitches of mixed difficulty.

Bushcraft

We run a bushcraft day course and a survival activity weekend. Both are 100% hands on giving you the experience of getting back to basics and appreciating the outdoors differently. Experience catching, preparing and cooking a delicious meal over a camp fire and camping out in you’re a shelter you’ve built.

The courses include water collection and purification, fire lighting, shelter building, foraging, navigation, cooking, emergency first aid and knife, saw and axe skills.

Mountain Biking in Northumberland National Park

Hire bikes are available and can be delivered to you. Adventure Northumberland have an excellent range of Mountain Bike Courses for beginners through to advanced, ladies only, night riding, trail and crosss country and winter riding.

Beginners Course - learn about bike set up, emergency repairs, balancing and going up and down hills, cornering, gear control and tackling obstacles.

Jumps & Drops Riding Skills Course – Learn to ride ramps, steps, steep drops and jumps

Kayaking Coastal Trip - explore coves, caves and tunnels, see wildlife and seabirds and the occasional pod of dolphins

Surfing Northumberland – We teach individuals and groups looking to learn to surf and progress their skills

Coasteering – Fun, exhilarating, challenging and action-packed activity is great for groups. Explore blow holes and sea caves and jump off high cliffs after climbing them.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding Lessons

Whether you wish to surf with a paddle board or join our Surfari tour, we’ll teach you the basics and ensure you have an excellent experience.

Family Summer Beach Day

Take your family to the beach for an action packed day of adventure – combine our Watersports and enjoy beach volleyball and a BBQ lunch also.
