Bookings for Loch Tay Highland Lodges are to be made in advance for peak season. Loch Tay Highland Lodges will only accept last minute bookings if they have spaces available.

Description

Loch Tay Highland Lodges is situated on the edge of Loch Tay and in the foothills of Ben Lawers, in Perthshire Scotland. Loch Tay Highland Lodges boasts a wide range of accommodation as well as activities on the water and on land. The activities and the stunning location make Loch Tay Highland Lodges a popular holiday destination for all the family, corporate groups and stag and hen parties.

Activities

While staying at Loch Tay Highland Lodge, a host of activities are provided on site by Legend Sailing. The onsite activities include Sailing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Archery and Mountain Bike Hire to explore the local area and the stunning scenery. Loch Tay Highland Lodges have ten boats that are on site that can be hired out for pleasure, cruising or for fishing in the loch, a Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) for skippered trips. For those that prefer to be on land Loch Tay Highland Lodge has a putting green and disc golf course, which can be used throughout the day. If anyone wishes to do a variety of other events outside the area, then Legend Sailing can arrange this. These activities include: Quad Biking, White Water rafting, Clay shooting and Highland safaris.

Activities for all

Loch Tay Highland Lodge caters for a wide selection of people, families, stag and hen groups, corporate groups and groups in general, as well as non residents. The minimum number of people in a group is eight to ten people up to around 20 being the maximum number. If anyone has any smaller queries about groups then please do not hesitate to get in contact with Loch Tay Highland Lodge.

Accommodation

Loch Tay Highland Lodge offers a wide variety of accommodation on site – There is sure to be something for everyone. The accommodation is as follows:

• two to four bedroom lodges – south facing and have their own patio area

• Woodland log Cabins – Four cabins can accommodate five people, and another four can accommodate six people.

• Loch Tay House – Five bedroom house overlooking the loch with its own garden and summer house

• Ivy Tree Cottage - Two bedroom cottage which has a double and a twin bedroom. Situated in the centre of the park with its own walled garden at the front with a patio area at the rear.

• . Glamping Domes - Each dome has a double bedroom and two camping mattresses. The Domes boasts views of both the Loch and the Mountains. There is a shared camper’s kitchen and a new shower block has been built in the park.

• Wigwams – The all wood wigwams can sleep up to five people at one time. There is a shower block next to the wigwams. Private bathrooms are available to rent for the wigwams. Electricity is included in the wigwams, but bedding and crockery/cutlery are not provided.

• Premium Wigwams - These are brand new to the site and have stunning mountain views. Each wigwams can sleep up to four people - one double bed and a corner settee that can be converted to a double bed. These wigwams have their own compact kitchen and shower facilities. Bedding and crockery/cutlery are not provided.

There is a amenities block on site that house a shower block, toilet facilities, laundrette and drying room, as well as a washing up area.

Food is available on site via the bistro which is situated right next to the marina. The Bristro is open daily during the peak season – which is Easter to end of October, and provides snacks, lunches and dinners. The Bristo does open in mid to low season but phoning before to check opening time is advisable. The Bristo can also be hired out for corporate events and birthdays.
