Description

Established in 1990, Black Rock Outdoors specialises in Outdoor Activities for half and full day sessions.

Black Rock is licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority to run Caving, Rock Climbing and Kayaking and is covered by Third Party Liability Insurance to the sum of £5m.

All Instructing staff hold appropriate recognised qualifications and are experienced with all ages and abilities. All necessary equipment is supplied.

Venue

Our activity and team building courses are based at Cobbs Cross Farm, ten minutes away from the M5 near Bridgwater.

Activiies

Mountain Biking
Introductory rides in the Somerset Hills, 24 speed front suspension mountain bikes provided. Lead by qualified instructor.

Rock climbing
Rock climbing and abseiling On the limestone crags of Mendip or elsewhere in the South West.

Kayaking
We run kayaking on a sheltered, private lake or on slow moving rivers in Somerset. We supply all specialist equipment and fully qualified instruction. Courses are also run in other parts of the South West.

Caving
Caving Under Mendip, in Devon or in other parts of the UK. Caves chosen to suit the ability and age of the group. Oversuits, helmets and electric lights are supplied. Participants must wear walking or wellington boots, not trainers.

High Ropes
High Ropes Course Experience the Multi vine, the Low and High Catwalks. the Postmans Walk, the Trapeze, Gladiator Rings and the High All Aboard.

Regular trips to North Wales, Brecon Beacons, the Lake District, Dartmoor and Exmoor. Ten Tors and D of E expedition training. Mountain navigation courses.
