Description

Enjoy a 5 day residential art holiday in the heart of the beautiful Ceiriog Valley in North Wales. One day courses are also available.

A maximum of four residential places can be accommodated from Easter to September each year.

The Courses

ART HOLIDAYS - up to 20 hours tuition, and Full Board, over five days Monday to Friday.

The cost for full board and 20 hours tuition is £395 per person. For non-participating partners sharing a room there is an £95 reduction.

ART DAYS - 5 hours tuition, with Refreshments and Lunch, (with wine if desired).

If you live locally you may also be interested in our ART COURSES - in ten week blocks of 2 or 3 hours tuition each week - with Refreshments.

Holidays and Courses are open to all abilities and ages - (students under 16 should be accompanied by a responsible adult on the course), - and students can bring the media of their choice for use on the course.

Individually Tailered Tuition

George is sensitive to the varying abilities and aspirations of each student, and is happy to adapt his tuition to personal requirements. Tuition is therefore individually tailored and given at the pace students feel comfortable with. Tuition can be studio or location based, as mutually agreed.

Studio Facilities

The purpose made Studio is adjacent to the house and contains all the equipment, materials, and resources used by the professional artist, designer and illustrator: Easels, Drawing Boards, Light Bench, Copiers, PC and AppleMac Computers, Visualizer and wide range of media, there is also an extensive Library of Fine Art, Design & Illustration books and publications.

Art Holiday Students may additionally use studio facilities outside their twenty hours formal tuition time.

Accommodation

Art Holiday guests - (2x couples, 2x single guests or 1x Couple & 1x single guest), are accommodated in the family house, in two bedrooms, each with a double bed, tea and coffee making facilities. Guests have their own sitting room, with television, and meals are served in the guest dining room, or alfresco.
